Today I’ll be doing a BOOKSHELF TOUR! Thanks to Haley for this idea😀🌈

I didn’t really have a bookshelf, since I mostly only read books online this year. And all my books were all over the house 🤷🏻‍♀️
But I figured it was time to CREATE a bookshelf. I had this lil’ shelf in a corner of my room with a chess board, some yarn and just a whole bunch of random things. I put them away and gathered all my books.

Then, I arranged the books according to height and the series. It didn’t take long until I had a NEAT 🌈new🌈 bookshelf!!

So here’s a tour, I’ll be doing mini book reviews for some of the books in my shelf. 🎉📚

I had to move this shelf to get good lighting 😂 and the lighting was still NOT that good, so I had my dad to hold a night light while I took these pictures 🤪😂 AND I used an editing app to add the lights and stars…. Here is what it ACTUALLY looks like:

anyways, you can see that there are only 3 shelves, and only 2 of them have books. I’ve read almost all the books from the first shelf. But like I said, I’ve been reading a LOT of books online and from libraries so I’ve definitely read a lot more from just this shelf🤓😂

this is the top of the shelf

This has pen stands, bookmarks, highlighters, cartridges, a Rubik’s cube and a whole bunch of stationary. Oh, and there’s also a duck.on top of a kiwi🥝 🐥🤨😆

the first shelf:

This shelf has 2 self-help books, 2 folk tales of China & Japan books, Thea stilton & Geronimo Stilton, a book related to football⚽️ “A frozen heart”, “The island of Adventure”, “Daddy long-legs”, 2 books of a series I haven’t read yet, a book from “Ella Diaries”, a book from “bad guys”, a double digest , “Animal Farm” and “something upstairs” .

that was super tiring, but I’ve read everything except Animal farm and those 2 books which I said I hadn’t read yet.

Second shelf:

This book has my favourite series’🎉😇 I’m positive I have the prisoner of Azkaban, but I couldn’t find it. No, I didn’t lose that book. It’s hiding from me. Anyways, I’ve read all the Harry Potter books from this shelf and I have 2 chamber of secrets books – one of them is a Ravenclaw edition. Which is basically the same exact thing, but with a blue book cover and a picture of the Ravenclaw common room at the end🤷🏻‍♀️🤨 I wish I got the half-blood Prince instead of that… BUT moving on, I’m getting the other 2 HP books from a library!!🎉🎉


There’s also a Tom Gates book in there, it’s a library book but I slipped it in there because it’s one of my favourite series too! this book only took me an hour to finish reading…

And I have the first book of The Keeper of the Lost Cities!! I loveee this book so much! (Recommended read😃📚)

And the other three books are from the Dork Dairies series (my second favourite book series🤓) I have 2 other books too, but I don’t know where they are..☹️

The Last Shelf:

This is the last shelf in my bookshelf, it has my Bullet Journal, My chessboard, That notebook with LOTS of colors is my sister’s. Lastly, I have a “wreck this journal” It’s a pretty cool book, but I kinda wish I got a book I could READ instead of that. I mean, I got that journal years ago.

      I’ve seen other bookshelves, and they have an aesthetic background- like with fairylights and curtains … but I still really like it!
      While mine looks so plain😂😂

    You have a nice smallish collection of books! I have read quite a few of the ones mentioned.

  12. Books are my favourite things and I have enjoyed rereading some later in life when I see them differently. When I first read ‘The Picture of Dorian Gray’ by Oscar Wilde at 13, I thought the love expressed was just old fashioned English, at 30, I understood that it WAS, indeed, a love story. At 50, I realized how clever the writing was. We see things so differently as time passes. Enjoy your books.

  14. OOH it’s amazing that you made your own shelf! Sounds real fun! 😁 And yayy Harry Potter books!! I used to be REALLY obsessed with the Dork Diaries too and I thinkk I have all of them except the recent ones maybe. They were great🤗😍
